2025: Empowering Education and Health—Our new program 'Healthy Children, Thriving Minds' receives support from the Merck Family Foundation

As we begin the New Year, we are thrilled to announce that our organization has received a significant grant from the Merck Family Foundation (MFF) to launch a new program in our two villages, Masantigie and Malimba. Titled 'Healthy Children, Thriving Minds: Paving the Path to Learning,' this initiative aims to address the critical intersection of health and education.

While our previous efforts to provide education and train local teachers have been successful, we continue to face challenges in ensuring access to education amid the harsh realities of poverty and disease. Many of our children suffer from infectious diseases and malnutrition, with limited access to essential medicines and affordable healthcare.

This new program will serve as a catalyst to strengthen local healthcare infrastructure, ensuring that our children and adolescents can grow healthy and thrive to their full potential.
